My Celebrant Wedding Services
Planning a wedding is one of the most incredible and important times of your life, and finding a celebrant you connect with is an important step. For couples that are out of town, we are able to utilise the technology of Skype/phone calls to conduct meetings as required.
Initially, we have a no obligation meet and greet to discuss the date, ceremony location and the type of wedding you want. I will outline my role, my fees, along with other information and timelines.
Planning the Wedding Ceremony
Once you have confirmed your booking, we will meet again to talk about how we create your ceremony. Discussion includes legal requirements and any ideas you have for the day. It is your opportunity to impart your story from how you met, your courtship time, the proposal and anything else you want included, so I can commence writing your story.
We can discuss possible inclusions such as readings, music, singer/s etc. It is all about what you want. My goal is to create an enjoyable and personal ceremony, in whichever format you are comfortable with, be it traditional, quirky or adventurous .
I will follow up with a draft ceremony outline for you to review and confirm. This can take whatever time and communication is required, to ensure we achieve the best result.
The Rehearsal & Wedding Day
A rehearsal will take place a day or two before your wedding. We will practice the choreography of the ceremony and I will lead you through the signing of the Marriage Certificate, so please bring this to the rehearsal. The rehearsal is the time to do any fine tuning to ensure your wedding day is a perfect memory for you.
On your wedding day I will arrive at the venue 30 minutes before the ceremony is due to begin. I will be available to liaise with the other parties involved in the ceremony eg, photographer, sound person, greet guests if required, and meet the bridal party on their arrival.
After the ceremony I will present you with your Copy of Particulars and a copy of your personalised ceremony. I will also lodge the signed Copy of Particulars with Births, Deaths and Marriages no later than 10 days after the wedding.
“We did not know what was involved in preparing for the ceremony. Jude was awesome with her knowledge and attention to detail. She put as at ease and helped with our nerves before the day so we were able to enjoy the ceremony. It was a fun and loving time for us. Our parents and guests loved it. Thanks so much Jude.”
